The Fiberistas

Monday, March 1st, 2010

The Fiberistas, individually known as Diane, Judy & Rosemary (The Constant Knitter) have joined forces to teach all levels of knitters, whether to cast on or bring your needles to the next level.  The Fiberistas are taking a stall at the The Crafty Market on Sunday 7th March from noon to 5pm.

Diane has been turning fiber into handspun yarn with her drop spindle since 2005. Come visit her at the Crafty Market to see how fiber turns into your own designer handspun.   She will have a selection of KoolAid dye packets and fiber to purchase.

Judy is totally passionate about knitting being driven by textures and colour.  She specialises in felting and will have samples of her work at the Crafty Market to inspire you to pick up your needles and get knitting. In addition, she runs a range of knitting classes in Delgany, Co Wicklow.

Rosemary is The Constant Knitter and will feature her line of Garnstudio yarns.  Also take a look at her selection Artesano, Manos del Uruguay, Irish and sock yarns. Feel the difference between Alpaca, cotton, and linen yarns.

Bring your knitting, get yourself a coffee and join The Fiberistas for a while either knitting, spinning or felting.  Or if you would like to learn any of these crafts, we will be giving demonstrations and will be happy to teach allcomers.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Directions to the Crafty Market is linked here.
