Thursday, June 13: You can make a multilayered brooch with wool, silk and other fibres in feltmaking class with Holly on Thursday morning, @ 10.30
Saturday, June 15: Or you can join Maria Tapper for a sewing workshop from 2 to 6pm. Also includes a light lunch
Sunday, June 16: Last but not least, there is a beginner / refresher crochet workshop here on Sunday from 2 to 5pm
Crochet Crash Course
Ideal for beginners and refreshers who know how to make a basic circle and would like to move on to make baskets, hats etc
You will learn working in the round, increasing, decreasing, the magic circle method and how to read a written pattern.

Michael "T" Higgins knitted tea cosy
This little guy was designed and made by Veronica Costello who very kindly lent it to us for the duration of our Tea Cosy Competition. Veronica gave one to the President and apparently he loves it!
You could visit him and, at the same time, come and view the over 60 tea / caffetiere / mug cosies which were entered. They were knitted, crocheted, felted, sewn and the imagination and craftsmanship exhibited is astounding! We would love it if you would vote for your favourite – we have voting cards here in the shop. All the proceeds of the competition go to St Brigid’s NS.
Lace Blocking wires
The lace blocking wires have finally arrived. These ultra fine wires are extremely flexible for your curvy lace edges. Made from an amazingly flexible wire with memory, they will not rust, corrode, tarnish or kink easily. Can be used for scalloped edges as well as straight edges. Arch and curve them as you wish – they will return to straight.
