I had been wanting for ages to knit with yarn that had some stainless steel in it and I love the result.

I used 25g of Katia Inox Lace and 4mm needles.  Next time I’ll use 5mm to get a more gauzy effect.  This yarn is 8% stainless steel and the rest is Extrafine Merino.  This laceweight is a joy to knit with.

The pattern is inspired by the Holey Square Shawl by Marianne Sigg.

This cowl is made from just one 25g ball of Katia Silk-Mohair and was a very quick and easy knit.  It feels incredibly soft and is really comfortable to wear.
