Patchwork / Quilting classes starting next Tuesday at 11am to 1pm and again at 6.30 to 8.30 pm.  Learn the traditional craft of patchwork quilting and create original designs, upcycle old favourites by transforming unwanted fabric items into family heirlooms.

Something old, something new…upcycling your old and unwanted clothes into something chic!  Bring a clothing item from your wardrobe or a charity shop purchase that needs a refreshing new look or upcycling.

Meet and mingle with the sewistas to get advice & ideas on how to change the look of your garment, then get started on your project.

We welcome any bits and bobs from your haberdashery stash for our treasure trove of embellishing items for this meet up.

 I found this dotey Essex miniature sewing machine in Martin Fennelly’s Antique shop across the road from us during the week.  It has the original case and the manual.   You can see the keys in the foreground to get an idea of the size.  It works!
