Apologies for any inconvenience while my website is being revamped at long last – I have not been updating products. It will be worth the wait! The look won’t change much (I still love Helena’s work) but how the website works (specially for me!) will be much improved.

Fancy helping older people in Ireland keep warm this winter? Then all you need to do is knit some little woolly hats for the innocent smoothie bottles. For every hatted bottle sold, innocent will give 25c to Age Action.
Go to http://www.innocentdrinks.ie/thebigknit/ to find out how to knit the little hats and where to send them and more…………..
Now in stock, 4 colours in DROPS Ice.
Material: 55% cotton, 45% acrylic
Weight/yardage: 50 g = approx 45 meter
Recommended needle size: 9 mm
Knitting tension: 10 x 10 cm = 10sts x 14rows
A soft cotton mix, deal for both winter and summer. It knits easily on big needles and has a luxurious velvety texture and gives a clear stitch definition that looks great in stocking stitch or moss stitch.
May also be used for patterns in Eskimo, which makes it a good alternative if you want a chunky sweater, but not in wool.

54% Egyptian cotton and 46% Viscose. 50g gives about 110m.
A dazzling, slender cotton viscose mix with an elegant touch. Also great for decorative details and edgings.
For a sensational effect, double knit with another yarn, such as Silke-tweed, Safran or Alpaca.
